Vision

She taught the robot to see like us. It taught her to feel like us.

Vision is the new film by writer/director Arthur Vincie. It's a science-fiction drama, in the vein of Sleep Dealer, Pi, or Primer.

Lydia's a brilliant but dysfunctional robotics scientist. Her latest project, MARC (the Military Autonomous Robotic Combatant) is a marvel of engineering, and is poised to replace American soldiers on the battlefield. That is, if she can get the robot to see.
With her personal life a mess, her career hanging in the balance, and under pressure from the Army to complete the project, Lydia struggles to teach the robot to see. Along the way, she begins to "see" the moral implications of her own work, and to question her role in building the latest "killer technology."

The film is currently in development, with plans to go into production in mid-2010. Check out the official website for more details, or download a Business Plan..
